The use of mounting is so that infantry can gain protection (sometimes),
but mainly speed from the vehicle.
The use of mounting the terminators vs normal inf= none for the vehicle,
but allows you to get the terminators to the front faster than if they
walked. Same is true for the inf. Why would a vehicle get a save because
there are terminators INSIDE?

they get a 4+ save to bail out, the terminators would get two 4+ saves to
survive the crash of the vehicle

Read mounting vs upgradeing in this newsgroup again. Mounting is
transporting; upgradeing is becomeing the unit.
