I quote from the E40K Army Book, p111, last line:
"And remember, if there's some troop type or army choice not in this
book you should have a go and send it in!"
Now there are a number of us who would like to see a few, and I do mean
few, additions or changes.
I'd like someone, somewhere to co-ordinate a list of "standard" new
units. I propose the following categories:

Category A:
Using a different model to substitute for an existing unit.
Example:
Old-Style Manticore (with Barbed Tail) = Chaos Artillery (non-Khorne)
MagnaKannon = Flakwagon
----------------------
Category B:
Duplication of an existing unit in a different army with a different
model, and the consequent new detachment.
Example:
(New) Cyclone Terminators = Chaos Terminator Noise Marines
(New) Assault Terminators = Chaos Terminator Khorne Berserkers
(Changed) Ork Bowelburner = Imperial Hellhound.
(New)Old-Style Bullock Jetbike = Eldar Jet Bike
(New)Minotaurs = Tyrannid Genestealers

Category C:
New Units using existing rules, and consequent new detachment.
Examples
(Changed)Ork Shooty Battlecars (Braincrusha, Spleenripper,Gobsmasha)
Move 25cm Range 45cm Firepower 2 Assault 1 Armour 5+ Cost 20(ish)
"An Ork Shooty Battlecar is easily recognised as any Battlecar without a
Close Combat Weapon such as Skull'n'Horns, Deff Rolla etc on it. It has
extra gubbins inside, more shells, and its crew is specialised in
shootiness"
(New) Capitol Imperialis War Engine (stats to be determined)
(New) Trolls - Extra to change Minotaurs to Trolls (save) +5

Minor Rules additions and consequent new units
Examples:
(New Specialist)Chaplain: Cost +20pts : Do not deduct 1 from the D6 of
barrage markers removed from the unit, ie roll D6 not D6-1.
(New Specialist)Repair: Cost +20 pts : Gives a save to all units within
6cm other than War Engines.
(New Unit) Imperial Chaplain - As Space Marine (Hero,Chaplain) +30 pts
(New Unit) Ork Mekboy or Painboy - As Ork (Repair) +25 pts
(New Unit) Ork Dragsta - As Mekboy Speedsta (Repair) +20 pts
