RE: [Epic] [E40k] FAQs and responsibilities

Sorry about the difficult day you had, but you should
probably attribute how you feel to the day, not any
accusations. You said yourself you didn't know about
how we did things before, and I think people just
responded letting you know there was someone. The
idea of collecting questions and submitting them is
a good one, and although we had a representative, we
didn't know whether he had begun work on E40K or not.
(I certainly hadn't heard anything about it--maybe Allan
was waiting until he received his own copy, so he didn't
ask any questions he could have found out himself in the
rules.) So I'm sure your offer was appreciated all around,
and you helped us get the ball rolling again. I don't
think you should interpret the response as accusational
at all, just administrative.
And any voting we did was on who was the official Primarch
representative rather than on what questions were submitted.
The representative needed to be official so that we didn't
bug the Primarchs with too many names or repeated questions.
If there were a lot of as-yet-unanswered questions, the
representative trimmed it down (as requested by Primarchs)
to a smaller list, bumping more recent questions to the next
list.
So thanks for getting this thing moving again. Thanks for
your offer of being a representative. I really don't think
people thought poorly of your offer at all.
