        OK, well I finally got to play the game this weekend. Tried
2 small (500 pt) Chaos vs Tyranids, and one 1500 pt Chaos vs SM/titans.

        As far as I can figure out, unless you have a wide open space
around you, you're not going to get to shoot at assaulters before they
get a chance to smack you. This makes artillery fairly important, since
it can shoot at anything in range (no LOS needed). OTOH, if you can
put a few blast markers on non-tyranid assault troops, there's a chance
they will fail their Leadership test to move in the assault phase,
leaving you safe & sound for a turn.

        So it kinda sucks that (generally) you won't be able to shoot
at the CC troops before they get to you.

        Oh, and the bugs' ability to auto-pass Ld tests really sucks,
too.
