Well, that _is_ kind of expensive. As it is, I would only take
either the librarian or the captain for one detachment, and certainly
not both. Plus, one librarian per detachment at 35 or 60 points is
kinda restrictive... it's almost certain that marines have a +1 against
them in cc and firefights. I'd probably only take a captain in an
assault squad (give 'em jump packs).

Good point. I agree. However, if you're buying a farseer to act simply
as a psyker, I think he's a waste.

As far as points costs go, I really wouldn't mind if the eldar player
didn't pay the extra 25 for HQ (as long as he took the farseer). I
mean really, what can 25 points buy that will be that devastating?
Of course, 25 points over a couple of detachments can add up, but I
don't think it should be an issue. I would be willing to play either
way.
