I can't say I'm surprised. For detailed work, nay, for ANY work, the
best knife is the SHARPEST knife. It will cut through the plastic
cleanly and require only a small amount of force to guide it on its
way. An ordinary pen-knife will not be accurate enough, and is almost
bound to slip at some point. If you're lucky, it will ruin the figure
you were working on - if unlucky, it'll be a trip to casualty.
