I've met a couple of other ork players who have voiced similar opinions
about wildboyz. Personally, I thought they they were the best ork
infantry in the game! They have the same CAF as Goffs, but don't
have any silly guns to drive up the price. I would almost always
field every one I had (three cards worth) and use them as a screen
for my warboss. 12 stands of +3 CAF troops plus 6 nobz (an two
battlewagons) makes a mini Goff clan for only 400 pts. The only
disadvantage to them was that they took up three detachment slots.

I generally stayed away from dragstas, mostly because having alot in
the game could really slow things down as shot go bouncing all over
the field. I always put 2 in the Renegade Mekboyz (when I fielded
them) and often would field a third to cover up expensive units like
Braincrushas or Battlefortresses. If I was coming up against alot
of waveserpents, I might bring all 6 out, but that was my "anti-Eldar-
cheese" army. I also brought almost all of them out in 10K+ point
battles, but at that size I was fielding almost everything I had.

I don't know if there is enough stuff from SM/TL to warrent a seperate
ork codex. Alot of the missing units are redundant vehicles that
really have no place in e40k (scorchers, gobsmashas, wartracks, ect).
I could, however, see some sort of mixed codex. Either a mix
containing ork units from several different systems, or a mix of
units for different e40k races. For example, such a codex might
include general rules for robots, as well as new specialist infantry
for different armies. This is just guessing though; I haven't
heard any rumors. But given GWs past marketing, it seems likely that
some sort of seperate expansion will be released (which will cost
lots o' money of course).
