        1,000,000 SMs - there's 1,000 chapters of 1,000 men.
But then in AoI it said something about how a SM chapter
would have much more than 1,000 men in wartime. And since
"there is only war," I always figured that there were much
more than 1,000,000 marines running around at any one time.

        Of course, every chapter would have to have something
like 100 times its peacetime strength in order to hit the
billion mark on total marines in the universe...
