I remember a Crichton movie from the late 70's that
was amazingly boring... oooh... can't remember the name. But
it was pretty bad. Books, especially sci-fi ones, hardly
ever translate into movies very well.

Everyone that I've talked to said the book sucked.
Apparently Spielberg felt the same... (not that what he used
was all that great).
