When thinking of the type of worlds that spawned the squats originally I
find myself wondering, "Why would squats have fliers at all?" I imagine
a world where harsh weather forced humans underground. One where the
land train was developed to protect travellers from hurricanes and
tornados which sweep across continents in lines like marching soldiers.
I see a place where the dirigible is used because sudden gusts of wind
and rough terrain smash planes more often than not. Imperial aircraft
are not suitable for squat homeworlds. Squats don't design fliers that
can compete with those of other races.

I think that a squat army without any fliers at all might be playable.
I'm inclined to call the gyrocopter a skimmer, a mobile tank.

Besides, I've got like 18 of the suckers. I don't think I'll be able to
field them all as fliers. :)
