Am I the only one who thought that Epic Squats *did* have their own
character? *Much* more so than the 40K Squats? Admittedly, the Epic
Squats didn't translate very well into 40K, since they liked SHVs & all,
but *I* didn't care about that....

Well, at least "sometime in the future" is a bit more honest than the
"next year or two" GW has been saying for the past four or five years.

Which is presumably why the rules were only published in CJ, since we
know how much GW hates making rules corrections later, in case they
cause confusion.... </sarcasm>

Keep in mind, though, that they *are* a totally independant fighting force....

Hmm, I suppose I did do a fair bit of that, but it's not like I didn't
charge into CC as well... or are you talking 40K, which I have no
experience with? Apart from that, the way Squats were designed (piss
for CC troops) you didn't have too many options apart from the pounding,
not that I didn't try on several occations. (Termites, anyone? ^_^ )

"Once again?" I've got Rogue Trader, and they're not *that* unique.
Yeah, the deployment is different, IIRC (RT is at home), but that can be
easily duplicated.

Again, though, the question is "when?" From everything that I've heard,
there are the various Imperial Agents codicies heading out the door, and
revisions of the WHFB army books, etc., etc. Battlefleet Gothic seems
to have a higher priority than the Squat Codex, from everything I've
heard! (Talking with several GW peoples on the phone and at
conventions.) Not that this is a Bad Thing (tm), since I'd love to get
more Space Fleet ships (though prices will be horrendous), but I think
it is an indication of the, shall we say, disregard GW has for the
Squats?
