Hi!

Biovores are nasty things, they keep coming and coming. They suck up firepower like nobodies business. I dont see you did anything wrong, but your opponent did. When I play versus Tyranids I shoot up the "infantry" stands and ignore teh bio-titans. In fact I may even buy a titan as bait, just to lure the bio-titan away from the battle and attend to better things.

You did the right thing you press forward and destroy HIS infantry looking for double points, keep him off balance.

You move spores in the mandatory phase of movement (like units on fallback or other obligatory movment, before all other movment, page 10 tyranid book, version 4.1).

If it drifts into a building roll for damage against the building. You use the small spore template never the standard barrage one.

The Dominatrix can move 20cm as a command unit. Unlike otehr praetorians the DOm is much more nimble, even with all her bulk.

Remember this no longer a psychic phase in 4.1. The Dom may attack with her regular weapons AND psychic attacks. Shes one tough bi***.

The rules in place are supposed to represent the bolter defenses you mention. It does make swarming REAL hard, but thats what was wanted. My years of experience show its to easy to swarm with lenient rules. I'd test your theory in a couple of games. Problems with giving it bolter fire is that a 1 in 6 chance means a little more than two bolters would hit on a warlord with 14 bolters, try it out with an IG tactical platton and you'll see what I mean. Too easy for the infantry.

Did these clear things up?
