This would be nice, but consider a real life example. The Browning .50 cal
machinegun is a heavy tripod weapon capable of shredding a light armoured
vehicle at close range. The FN minimi are a light squad support weapon for
use purely against infantry. Both of these are machine guns however.
One thing I would like though was for Tank bolters to be upgraded. Likely to
25 cm range or a 5+ to hit roll. On virtually every tank except the rhino,
each bolter is in fact a heavy bolter and ought to be more powerfull than an
assault stand firing pistols, or at least as effective
