What 40k units aren't in E40k? Aside from the Imperial
assasians (who don't really fit into a detachment-oriented game),
and most of the Chaos Daemon World army list, (and the whole Squat
list) nothing comes to mind.

Sure. Ghazgull -> take an Ork supreme commander, paint
it in Goff (?) colors, mount/upgrade to taste. Yarrick -> take
a Commisar-General supreme commander, mount/upgrade as desired.
IMHO, these two + the space wolf characters were a big part of
what 'killed' the last version. Giving underpriced single stands
of infantry special powers that affect an entire army is too much.
