I'm afraid I agree with Chris and Sauron on this one Neil,
If GW don't wont us to use the old figures we have, tough luck. As long as your opponents agree then it should be OK. As for these clearly defined lines between races, what crap !! Do they think any technology and tactics is impervious to espionage, replication or analysis. Next they'll be trying to tell us that during the American Civil War only the Rebs could have artillery and only the Yankees could have cavalry, or during WWII only the Axis could have fighters and only the Allies could have submarines. I'm one of Chris's regular opponents and I have no problem with him using Bullocks (I gave them to him in the first place ) If 2 bullocks turns the tide of a battle I need to go back to tiddlywinks.
Apologies to anyone who takes any offence to any of this. I just feel strongly on this issue, especially after some pleeb at the GW store tried to tell me today ' You CANN"T play Squats in Epic 40K, Games Workshop doesn't make them anymore'. They manufacture a great game but that's where it ends. I will not have what I do with my hobby dictated to by anyone.
