Hi!

The issue of "allies" has long since been a sticky one, especially when it
comes to the Imperial forces. Most would argue that they are after all one
army with different branches. Officially speaking Net Epic should be played
with "pure" armies, from ONE army list. Allies are optional and thus should
be agreed by all players beforehand. A combined Imperial forces with TG, IG
and marines provides many advantages and while not invincible it may tip the
scales too much in their favor.

As for the campaign have that player pick one army as his main one (be it
IG, TG or marines) and either disallow or limit the amount of forces from
other list. In the past I have used limiting these allies to 25% for the
playing force and they MUST be taken as full company cards before support is
taken. That is, you cannot just bring IG companies and attach TG or marine
support cards. Due to cost this will limit them as it should be.

Peter
