Bunkers

It has a save of 2+ (like all fortifications) and units within get the
4+ save. Bunkers can't have weapons like a stronghold but we can let
light artillery pieces be placed in them (thud guns, mole mortars,
etc.). Infantry and light artillery use only.

As a variant we can allow bunkers that will house heavier artillery.

In advanced terms it has 3 structural point each.

Whilst a bunker certainly can't carry the weaponry carried by a stronghold
it should be capable of mounting vehicle and lighter weaponry like battle
cannons and heavy bolters or the racial equivalent.


3. What can cross a trench (unit types)

Most types of tracked / wheeled vehicle would be able to cross a trench as a
reduced speed particularly tracked vehicles as the tank was originally
designed to negate the advantage of hiding in a trench. Might it be an idea
to have a chance of the trench collapsing under the vehicle as it crosses
with a greater chance of it collapsing the heavier the vehicle is with the
vehicle then becoming bogged down for the remainder of the turn.
