[Epic] Blast markers on titans

I apologise if this question has already come up and has been answerwed
but i have been away from the list a while and can't remember seeing it.

What is the effect of blast markers on titan. Does one blast maker
reduce the number of weapons the titan can fire by one ?
If so it appears that it is relativly simple to render a titan usless.
If not what do blast markers do to titans ?
